Unmasking the Hidden Costs of Proxy Appointments and Management
Since 2008, SASMiNT has been at the forefront of traffic fine management, conducting numerous seminars and workshops across the country. Our extensive research has uncovered a startling reality: the majority of proxies are unaware of the significant legal and financial risks associated with their role. Many would have declined the position had they known the full implications.
This alarming trend highlights the urgent need for comprehensive proxy management training. By neglecting proxy preparedness, companies expose themselves to potential legal battles, reputational damage, and employee dissatisfaction. Management, too, bears responsibility for understanding the complexities of proxy management and the potential liabilities associated with appointing unqualified individuals.
Furthermore, the National Road Traffic Act Regulations designate proxies as directors responsible for fleet management, encompassing licensing, traffic fines, roadworthiness, and driver behavior. This elevated status underscores the critical importance of selecting qualified individuals for this role. The risks associated with proxy mismanagement are substantial, and companies must prioritize the training and support of their proxies.
To address these critical issues, SASMiNT is hosting the Mastering Traffic Fine Workshop. This comprehensive program will equip proxies, fleet managers, and HR professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the complexities of proxy management.
